Company history
VN Engineering Ltd. was founded in 2011 by Vladimir Nikolov as a construction testing laboratory. Years of work and persistence have established the company as a leader in the investigation of building materials and structures.
Continuous improvement of our research base and skills has turned the laboratory into a body capable of the full range of testing and inspection of building elements.
The nature of the work has instilled a high level of precision and personal responsibility, which we bring to every task. It taught us how matter behaves, how it changes over time, how it forms structures and how we can act on it — and it helped us find solutions where none seemed to exist.
The need for new challenges led us to apply that experience and knowledge to building structures. Since 2018 VN Engineering Ltd. has expanded into construction, and today it carries out construction and engineering of new buildings and facilities, reconstruction of existing ones and demolition of old ones.

Subject of activity
The main practice of the company today is a combination of research and construction. Our services cover laboratory testing of building materials; construction and reconstruction of public, industrial and residential buildings and bridge structures; and demolition of existing structures.
VN Engineering Ltd. has a fully equipped laboratory, its own machinery and the material base needed to service a construction site. We carry out specialist work such as diamond cutting and drilling of openings in reinforced-concrete elements.
Our plant covers the entire production cycle on site and serves both the company and its clients. Every machine for construction and specialist work is available for hire.
Memberships and registrations
VN Engineering Ltd. has been a member of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber since 2015 and is a member of the Association of Laboratory Experts in Construction (ALES Bulgaria). It is entered in the Central Professional Register of Builders in five groups of works:

History
- 2011Founded by Vladimir Nikolov as a construction testing laboratory.
- 2011–2012Laboratory and geodetic control during construction of the retaining dam of the Lyulyakovitsa tailings pond, Assarel Medet.
- 2014The laboratory is first accredited to BDS EN ISO/IEC 17025.
- 2015Member of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber.
- 2018The company expands into construction — new build, reconstruction and demolition.
- 2021Part of the machinery fleet becomes available for hire.
- 2024Certified to ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 39001.
- 2026The laboratory is re-accredited — valid until 15.04.2030.
