02What data we collect
We collect only the data you send us through the contact form, plus the minimum needed to protect it from abuse.
- Name and email address — so that we can reply to you.
- Phone number — only if you choose to give it.
- The subject you are interested in and the text of your message.
- IP address — recorded automatically when the form is submitted, solely to limit abuse and spam.
03What we use it for
VN Engineering Ltd. uses the data you send solely to respond to your enquiry and to maintain the correspondence that follows.
We send no newsletters or unsolicited commercial messages, do not use your data for any other purpose, and make no automated decisions based on it.
04Legal basis
- Consent — Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). Given via the checkbox before you submit the form, and withdrawable at any time.
- Legitimate interest — Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Applies only to the IP address, for the purpose of protecting the site from abuse.
05Retention period
- The abuse-limiting record (the IP address as an irreversible hash) — up to one hour, after which it is deleted automatically.

06Who we share data with
We do not sell, disclose or provide your personal data to third parties for their own purposes.
The website and the company’s email are hosted on the same server of our hosting provider, which processes the data only on our instructions, acting as a data processor. We use no external email service — messages from the form are received on the same server.

07Cookies and browser storage
This site uses no cookies and no analytics, profiling or advertising tools. Fonts are served from our own server rather than a third party, so visiting the site sends no information to third parties.
If you choose the light or dark theme, the choice is kept only in your browser (localStorage) so you don’t have to make it again. It is not personal information and is sent nowhere; you can remove it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
The map on the Contacts page and the “Open in maps” links come from Google Maps. The map loads only when you press “Show the map”, and a link only when you follow it. Only then does Google receive data about the visit (such as your IP address), and it may use cookies under its own privacy policy. Until you do, nothing is sent to Google.
08Your rights
In relation to your personal data you have the right to:
- access the data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected;
- have your data erased (the “right to be forgotten”);
- restrict processing;
- data portability;
- object to processing;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
